Overall, it was a great experience and I strongly suggest you do your own research and to figure out which product is best for your needs. Select the product based on potency, concentration, cost and health benefits. For me, the gummies were more like a candy, the vape pen was good, but I was actively thinking if it was safe and finally, the tincture gave me the best sensation.
PureKana’s products can be obtained in the form of capsules, gummies, powder, topical salves, oral sprays, vape pens and even edibles like peanut butter. Additionally, they offer hemp CBD products for pets.
Regarding each product, this is what I think:
PureKana was established in 2017 by the CEO Cody Alt and the Co-Founder Jeff Yauck. The firm is based in Scottsdale, Arizona. PureKana is one of the most popular companies currently selling CBD-based products. On the BBB site you can find additional information regarding the location and company size.
According to PureKana’s website, their CBD oil is derived from hemp plants that have high levels of cannabidiol (CBD), while having a low level of THC. They claim that their CBD oils consistently have less than 0.2% THC, but it is difficult to verify since there are no lab records available to the public. These extracts can then be used in paste form, or mixed with other oils such as hemp seed oil, to lower the viscosity of the extract.
When it comes to learning about their business address and contact information. I was able to find all the details on the Contact Us page. They provided the exact business address, working hours, phone number for both customer support and for sales as well as their email address.
The brand started out as a small family business and their goal was to create the finest quality CBD oil products using a solvent free CO2 extraction process. The PureKana website features a FAQ section, where they offer answers to general questions regarding CBD, legality, testing methods, the differences between hemp and CBD oil, etc. They also offer the option to subscribe to their newsletter for customers who wish to receive notifications and coupons.
Is PureKana Products Legal in Every State?
According to PureKana’s website, their hemp CBD products are legal in all 50 states.
PureKana’s manufacturing process is based on a solvent-free CO2 extraction method, which tends to be a more costly method of extraction. What’s important about this method is that it does not leave any harmful or toxic solvents in the finished product.
According to PureKana’s website, they harvest their organic hemp from Kentucky. PureKana offers Non-GMO hemp CBD products that they claim do not contain any pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers. Still, it is impossible to verify that the CBD is in fact Organic because they do not show a USDA Certificate to prove it. The company also does not mention if their products are manufactured in a GMP Certified facility or not.
For reference, I requested by email a copy of the Certificate of Analysis (CoA) or their testing results so I could compare the CBD content for all three products. To date, I haven’t received an answer. It seems that PureKana used to provide the results for their tincture and oils which were tested by ProVerde lab, a well known and respected laboratory, It seems that the company has removed the page.
It seems like nowadays, they are working with a lab called “Ace Analytical Laboratories”. We couldn’t find information about this laboratory on-line, but the test results are available for each product, at the bottom of the relevant product page. Once again,results are not available for each manufacturing batch. For example, here are the results for the Mint CBD Oil 300mg.
It’s important for both the company and the users to publish their 3rd party lab results. Most people interested in CBD products are always searching for information concerning the concentration or potency, cleanliness and purity of the CBD products that they are considering for purchase. Additionally, providing this information gives a sense of trust because there are so many unreliable CBD products in the market.
PureKana offers 11 different types of CBD tinctures/oils. The quantity of CBD in each bottle of oil vary from 300 mg to 5,000 mg. The presentation appears attractive since they offer different label colors depending upon the flavor and potency.
The CBD tincture/oils cannot be purchased in a bundle, they can only be purchased individually. The website offers discounts for some of them, but not for all. PureKana is also providing additional information regarding the ingredients in each product and the recommended dosage Further, they offer additional information about CBD and their products in general. At the same time, a rating is displayed for each product and an option is available for people to leave comments.

Although PureKana sells a variety of products, in this section I will focus my review on the following products, I’ve purchased and tested:
Before we get into the details of each product, let’s focus on my buying experience.
The browsing experience was very straight forward. The website provided me with the information needed to find the products in a fast and reliable way.
The website’s structure is easy to understand and the products are organized in a very easy-to-find way. For example, the sequence allows you to go rapidly to the section of the product(s) that most interest you, from oils to gummies to pens.
I purchased the three products during a federal holiday and, overall, my products were not delivered as soon as I expected. It took almost one week to receive them. The company offers free shipping for all 50 states, which is good but it may take longer than other expedited methods. It does not say, however, how long it will take to be delivered.
As you can see, they do not mention the shipping method or the estimated delivery time. Additional shipping methods were not mentioned.
This is my purchase history:

Here is how the package I’ve got looks:
PureKana’s CBD oil/tincture is by far its main seller. It comes in different flavors, Natural, Vanilla, and Mint. The Mint CBD Oil comes in three strengths: 300 mg, 600 mg, and 1,000 mg. For the purpose of this review, I selected the one with the lowest potency (300 mg).
These are the different Mint CBD Oil products PureKana offers:
|CBD per Serving||Cost per Serving||Cost per mg|
|Mint CBD Oil (Full Spectrum)||300 mg||$54.00 USD||7.5 mg||$1.35 USD||$0.18 USD|
|Mint CBD Oil (Full Spectrum)||600 mg||$95.00 USD||15 mg||$2.4 USD||$0.16 USD|
|Mint CBD Oil (Full Spectrum)||1,000 mg||$139.00 USD (after discount)||25 mg||$3.5 USD||$0.14 USD|
PureKana’s Mint CBD Oil comes in 30 ml (1 oz) bottles.For the 300 mg version, the serving size indicated was ½ dropper which contains around 7.5 mg of Cannabidiol (CBD). The total number of servings per container is about 40. The bottle already includes the 1 mL dropper and the directions indicate to take it twice daily. Also, they suggest placing the indicated serving size of ½ of the dropper under the tongue, waiting 60-90 seconds and then swallowing the dose.
PureKana CBD oil labels photos:
Based on the company’s website, its Mint CBD Oil is organic, non-GMO, lab-tested, free from solvents and chemicals and it contains less than 0.02% THC, which is within the allowed limits. In the USA the legal definition of “industrial hemp,” per Section 7606 of the Agricultural Appropriations Act of 2014, reads “INDUSTRIAL HEMP — The term ‘‘industrial hemp’’ means the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of such plant, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.” (Reference: https://nifa.usda.gov/industrial-hemp)
One more aspect to consider is the price. The MINT CBD Oil (300 mg) was $54.00 USD per bottle. For some people, this may seem to be expensive as 1 mg will cost around $0.18 USD. This pricing level may be compared to low-cost CBD oils, which usually fall between $0.05 and $0.10 USD per mg and mid-range CBD oil usually priced at $0.11 USD to $0.15 USD per mg. A container of CBD oil will last around 40 days or approximately one-month. On the positive side, this full-spectrum CBD product includes terpenes, flavonoids, and cannabinoids, which enhances its bioavailability and effectiveness.

|Vegan CBD Gummies||500 mg||$40.00 USD||50 mg||$2.00 USD||

The checkout experience was very straight forward. I thought it was a little strange at first because there is no second verification process. It makes me wonder if any credit card can be added to the payment system without verifying the address of the card holder or if it automatically verifies the address based upon the billing details section.
There is a division between returning customers and promo code/coupon holders. The checkout process was very fast and took no more than three minutes.
I contacted their customer support staff using the Contact Us page of the website to inquire about their shipping system, both domestic and international. They replied (as shown above) that they only ship to addresses located within the United States. I received a reply by email. I did not try to contact the company by phone, only by email.
I believe they are being cautious because of the FDA regulations. Still, I always received the same response for all my questions. I even requested the lab results for all three of the products I purchased. It took some time to receive a reply but the reply did not the contain lab results. Other than that, I received a reply but not a helpful answer:
